Smart Switch Backup issue...SS in comments

There is a few pics on my phone and videos. plus contacts, texts, call logs. I didn't stop anything, so not sure what "cancellation by the user" means. Going to try again, but when I plug my USB in to PC what should i pick from the drop down usb option menu? charging/file transfer/software installation? Thanks for any help. I've watched videos on this for days and have been too scared to try myself until now.

Thank you! That must have done the trick. I did follow thru with the s package disabler and good lock then, but question on disabler. Do I need to have Verizon Messages+ app disabled or any other verizon/samsung ones? Like NFL Mobile? My list of enabled apps still show quite a few verizon/samsung things.

You don't need to have them disabled if you use them. I disable packages I never use like Sammy themes, Uber, S Health ect..

You have something blocked that is preventing the backup. I noticed today mine won't back up. I haven't looked yet to see what I have blocked preventing the backup

i am also having issues with my restore. i backed it up just fine but now its not recognizing my device. Has anyone else had this issue???

I am currently going through the restore process... I will post back any issues I may have. Hopefully it will help others on this forum.

once i rebooted after flashing the stock firmware it saw my note 7 i had this issue at first but rebooting took care of it
