Seems that the note is recognized so far, can you transfer files there an vice versa?Ken wrote:5040 Yes. Except it said com5. Instead of com7 like in the tutorial
There are some things to try:
-check your usb configuration in developer options: try to change between mtp and ptp
-unplug and plug your note
-try another usb port at pc
-try to repeat flash process (there are reports from other who needed 10 or more tries)
-try another pc / operating system (some problems related to windows 10, windows 7 has best experience
-sometimes security software installed at pc causes problems

did all those, still didn't work, even went to a different computer with windows 7. I fought the good fight, I shall fight no more.......
I assume it's because I have the original battery phone, maybe that makes a difference but it's not working. Goodbye
