I know you're waiting for someone to chime in if they received the update,(which I haven't) because the disablers are working as intended. I even put my phone in airplane mode and shut down the power. After reading several threads where folks received the update who didn't have any disablers enabled, I figured it was safe for me to power back on and I did and I haven't received any OTA updates or warnings. The Alliance Shield worked!
