I guess tomorrow they will start turning off phones. I just found this site and would like to prevent that. I blocked the battery update by declining system update. Will that work for the turn off?

I think I downloaded the alliance shield, but how do I install it? Sounds like it is automatic, but I don't see an app

Ok, was able to download and install, but it said I wasn't a certified user. What does that mean?

Does anyone know how the yurn off program will work and can it be blocked by simply not accepting the package?

You need atleast 5 post to be able use the shield. I myself do not use it but i have followed the toturial to block using easy disabler. Just follow the intructions carefully!

It cannot be blocked by simply not accepting the update. You may only postpone it a few times but eventually it will push through unless you use a disabler or the shield.

You may become a certified user of the shield by having 5 or more posts on the forum, but no spaming!

Options are use the shield app or block with package disabler to prevent the update

I am on sprint and still at 100% using s package disabler. Hopefully no issues trmw
