@ Catwoman is there any option to achieve this without rooting ? ROM Downgrade did not work for me . Currenty stuck at 80%

If downgrade doesn't work, then there's no know way than to flash custom recovery and custom rom. Even flash of custom rom will trigger Knox and so you can root anyway.

Rooting seems to be the only option currenty- I am @ 80%

Why not give the process with custom recovery / root / custom rom a try?
The Hydra ROM is very close to stock, so you'll probably find it comfortable.
Only thing you could miss is secure folder, but you can use private mode instead, or some apps that don't work with root.
But the advantages are predominant.

Good suggestion beowulf381 and Triggering the Knox flag is now irrelevant given that Samsung has withdrawn the use of Knox certificates on the Note 7 during this past week.

Am in the process of sending my note 7 back to Samsung, but wants to still use it until collected, would rooting and custom rom void returning to Samsung?

currently can charge up to 30%

anyone out there?
