I hope my Support Ticket does not duplicate any previous and I have read and read the forums but...I have a TMobile V2 Note 7 that charges to 100% and updates are blocked by N7A guidelines - used Solid Explorer and S Package Disabler. I want to install the Alliance Shield and am worried that if I get in there and something goes wrong, the TMobile update will be pushed. I have read the instructions and watched the video several times and I see that Catwoman has on airplane mode when she starts the procedure and that her SIM card is out.
1. Do I start the whole procedure with SIM card out and in Airplane mode or SIM card out and just WIFI turned off?
2. I would rather keep the S Package Disabler and so when I enable all packages in that to properly install the Shield, will something happen before I get the Shield installed?
3. I have been fearful of using my phone just because TMobile pushed the update so early and I am so bad at this tech stuff that I frankly have been using my iPad and desktop computer to visit this forum and post. Meaning I haven't used my phone on N7A - will this cause a problem with my post numbers?

Thank you for your help.

You can keep the other disabler however the shield will not recognize the packages already blocked when you enable it if you use both.

I want to make sure I understand because I am not clear and don't want to mess up when I install Shield.
1. Do I go into developer mode and enable the usb debugging etc. as I did with the update block and battery rollback?
2. Do I remove my SIM card while installing Shield? Do I put on airplane mode until I am ready to install? On the video, Catwoman did this.
3. What is the order of operations? downloading Shield, disabling my S Package Disabler (or do I just enable all packages), then install Shield with wifi on, then re enable my S Package Disabler to remove bloat ware. Is this the correct order?
4. What if when I turn on wifi to install the Shield the TMobile update starts? Is there a way to stop it?

I sincerely appreciate all the help N7A has given me and all the Note7 holders.

I've wondered about that for a while now, and haven't seen anything to Really Specify how to Integrate at least two of them - Or remove all but the new one!
Another aspect to be considered IS What About the many pkgs already disabled; and Now I see something stating that the NEW Shield doesn't take into consideration - just How Many OR Which Apps are Already disabled!
This is Very Important, since when the previous update 1st came out - it had disabled "Device Maintenance", and then after complaigning about that,
a 2nd pkg disabler version was put out there - - Which Then Re-enabled the Device Maintenance App!

So Please keep me apprised of what you discover here...
Thanks.

I'd make sure you have the sheild downloaded on your phone. Then id put the phone in airplane mode. Then you can enable all packages in s package disabler. Then I would go to log into your sheild, while turning off airplane mode. That should do the trick. Once the sheild is up, you can decide if you want two disablers or not.

I will try this. I know that I have the correct packages disabled in S Package Disabler because I found all the ones specified. My concern now after reading through a lot of these support threads is that when I turn on wifi to install the Shield, the TMobile update may start and I will panick and do something wrong. But if my SIM card is out while I am doing this, will I be OK? Meaning can TMobile push the update while I am on wifi if my SIM card is out?

Turn off auto updates in settings. The update is not gonna be so lightning fast that you can't hit enable shield anyway. The update shouldn't come thru without sim card in

Auto updates is off. I will take out SIM card. Should I put it in airplane mode until I install the Shield (during the process of installing Shield)? I keep reading posts that people can't log in, or are having other problems with the Shield. Is it all in working order and should I install the most recent update of the Shield v3? I am just so nervous because since TMobile pushed the update on 12/27/16 I have not had one push notice or anything about the update so I am hesitant to change the status quo. I do understand from a previous post that the S Package Disabler was just a stop gap until the Shield was ready so I guess I just need hand holding on this one.
By the way, if I have violated some of the posting rules, please forgive. I don't normally do this sort of thing - first time to internet post was to save my Note7 - and I didn't mean to annoy or spam. I just didn't know how to post using all the buttons.
Many many thanks for all your help - every one of you!!

Do I need to download the S package disabler? I was going to just remove sim card and download the shield app and get it up and running before enabling wifi

No ma'am you aren't violating any posting rules by asking questions. That's what we are here for. Here is a link to the exact steps/order to follow for the shield.

When I installed Solid Explorer and followed the instructions on the tutorial to pull files out of the root folder to make them useless, I pulled out 3 files - SoAgent, FotaAgent and Wssyncmldm. I then did the S Package Disabler and disabled UrgentFWUpdateTSP (com.samsung.android.firmware.tsp), GalaxyApps(com.sec.android.app.samsungapps), GameLauncher(com.samsung.android.game.gamehome), SecurityLogAgent(com.samsung.android.securitylogagent), com.tmobile.pr.adapt, SamsungPushService(com.sec.spp.push), SoftwareUpdate(com.sec.adnroid.soagent), KnoxAppsUpdateAgent(com.samsung.knox.appsupdateagent), SecurityPolicyUpdates(com.policydm), SoftwareUpdate(com.wssyncmldm) and Lookout(com.lookout). I have been safe since I did this and don't seem to have been hit by the TMobile/Samsung 0% update on 12/2/7/16 but I have not turned on wifi since then so maybe I am not?? Did I pull out one more file than I should have in the Solid Explorer step? Subsequent review of the tutorials indicate that only SOAgent and FotaAgent were to be pulled out of root and I also pulled out Wssyncmldm. Is this going to mess me up when I install the Shield?

I haven't yet installed the Shield. Can anyone determine if I messed up by pulling out the 3 files vs the 2 as I detailed in the post above? Thank you.
