I will need more info to determine a fix:
1) Did you Flash your Note 7 with Odin?
2) What carrier do you have?
3) What firmware do you have on your phone right now?
4) What method did you use to disable the update?
5) Do you have a package disabler?

Did you disable device maintenance in package disabler? If so, that will cause it

If you disabled device manager in PD, that's the culprit. Please give that a try

My device maintenance is also disabled after the install. Other than that everything is working fine. Just hope it survives the next at&t push.

its not disabled, nothing is disabled. In fact I dont think I have a device manager package on my phone, any way I can download them or do I need to factory reset my phone. Is that dangerous?

Hey Catwoman:

I see that some others have come across this problem of The Disappearing "Device Maintenance" manager!!
I followed your Video that was 2hrs long - exactly; and in the end watched as that automated "APK Installer" turned on
And disabled all necessary packages - to prevent any further pushes from our providers!

I previously used this manager often to keep the phone running smoothly, and immediately Noticed its absence - right away!!
Is it possible that - One of those apps that got turned off - might be able to be allowed to turn back to get back the manager???

Once again; I'm using ATT, followed your 2hr Video exactly - Odin & the accompanying downloads....

Hopefully you can figure out - Which of those disabled startup apps - is responsible for the deactivation of the
Device Maintenance manager!!! It was a helluva cleaning tool & without annoying ads!!

Craig.
