I have been in airplane mode, no sim, and WiFi off for 3 days now! I downloaded ss package Disabler and the other download after I updated my firmware successfully, yea 100 percent!!(thank you). I am no longer seeing that to be an option today. Will it still be OK for me to use since I downloaded it to my laptop 2 days ago? Sm-n930p, kill date t-1hr and 15 minutes!!

Yea package disabler has helped block the first few "reducing updates" but feel like I need something more for peace of mind so I'm going with the shield app. We should be good with the app installed.

Your best bet is to download the shield it is a foolproof way of staying protected for good. There is no way for the appstore ro remove it and make it non functional.

@Kourtneyelyse - I'm not sure about the current status of your phone, but it would be my suggestion that you should secure yourself with the shield. You already meet the requirements of usage, so no worries there. If you are worried then simply download the Alliance Shield 0.5.8 (which I've attached to this message) - put it on an SD card or transfer it to your phone while everything is disconnected. Make sure you have any ABD scripts or anything you've done prior to this UNDONE or otherwise reversed (i.e. uninstall other package disablers, but not before you open them and RE-ENABLE everything they have currently disabled) ..... Once everything is deleted/reversed and re-enabled and your phone is on 100%: Re-enable WiFi/Airplane/SIM and login to the shield app with your forum account (this one); and press the shield icon on top. You'll be good.
