1) are you able to connect to the network again? Did you try this?
Go to Settings---> System Update---> Download updates automatically---> Make sure knob is to the left in the off position.

enable all packages

Go to your phone and dial:
##72786#

If that doesn't work then go to Settings---> System Update---> Update Profile

restart phone, if you are now connected to data, disable the packages again.

2) Use the shield: https://note7alliance.com/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=237
Flashed my phone to charge 100% from 60%, installed the Sheild, and had no issues until I received the "Kill" update. After 3 attempts successfully go rid of the "Kill" update, but after the second attempt I had this Network issue, and still do. I'm going to attempt the process above, I just need to know (and excuse my novice approach) but what do you mean by "enable all packages?"

What's up doc. Split your post so it wasnt hijacking another thread, and burried at the bottom of it so you can get more assistance this way.

So your issue is that you got hit with the 0% update? As well as having network issues? What network are you with?

Okay thanks, I didn't realize what happened to my posts, didn't think I was hijacking, thought I was on topic. But anyways, the entire issue is this:

-- Got hit with the 60% update, flashed phone back to 100% charging phone worked fine

-- Installed the shield, made sure it was enabled and all (had the little green shield at the top of my page and everything)

-- Got hit with the "kill update" postponed the install until I was able to remove the update (it took 3 times but it finally worked)

-- Phone worked on wifi only, that was it, I had no network connection

-- Performed the ##76786 function and phone use was partially restored, basically I can make and receive calls, I'm good with everything as long as I'm on wifi, but when I'm not connected I can't do anything outside of make/receive phone calls, send texts (but no pictures) and GPS may work, I haven't really tried that

So this is where I am in a nutshell I was wondering if I need to get a new Sim from my carrier, but if I do does it have to be Note or Samsung specific (Note 7 is the first phone I had with a Sim)? Also I haven't gotten any updates will adding a Sim change that?

I'm fairly novice myself in all of this but it sounds like you might need to check your APN settings.

Go to Settings: Mobile networks: Access Point Names.

You can confirm settings if you just google it for your carrier settings.

I put a different carrier sim in mine and had the same issue, Ie calls and texts were fine but no data or MMS capability. This cleared it right up for me.

Just tried that, yeah I can't do anything on the "Access Point Names" screen, everything is greyed out and I am unable to select anything or even "reset to default" but thanks anyway.

NO, I'M NOT GOOD!!! AHHHH!! I'm not even sure that this will be seen, but I have tried it all, what happens if I need a new SIM? And what are the sprint packages needing to be disabled? It is just my mobile network, and sprint is telling me no problems on their end, it should work. My apns are frozen as well as the add button. I have searched high and low for a solution. I have a no root firewall could that be it?

My apns were greyed out, but now are just frozen, I cannot click anything, won't even restore to default.

It might be a CDMA (verizon / sprint) thing. Again, I'm probably not the right person to ask on this but I have a t-mobile sim in my n7 and I can adjust my APN settings but when I have my verizon sim in it will not allow me to "add" a new one. Like you stated, they are greyed out.

Yeah this is very frustrating feels like I might have to give in cause I can't be on the road with no network service, I have the same questions and I'm getting no answers
