When I ran the phone 'setup' the first time the sneaky battery limit update was so fast that it got installed before I ended it and would be able to enable the Airplane mode... :x

Therefore is there any insulation material that can prevent the device from receiving the mobile signal?

I ask because I am going to receive another brand new sealed Note 7 (Blue Coral at last! <3 ) between Christmas and the beginning of next year and I want to be 100% sure I am not gonna f it up because of the update.

Are you sure that even without a SIM the update won't be downloaded?

I mean emergency calls can be done. [emoji15]
