I have my original Note 7 pre-recall. No battery crippling update. Is there any way to remove that notice with out using an app like good lock? I'd like to get my phone back to the way it was before the recall notice update.

I've used good lock before. I was wondering if there was another way besides using that? Maybe reflashing the firmware? Is the firmware you've given me prior to the notice being sent out ota?

You can't go further back in the firmware bc the bootloader does not allow it. :(

I did some testing on my husband's phone. We needed a specific version of Good Lock because the latest causes to pop ups. I posted the fix just now:
