Hey all,
2 Days ago, 21st of August, my phone randomly decided to start downloading an OTA Update from Tmobile around lunch time. Luckily I seen it downloading and stopped it (it managed to get to 14%, but when I canceled it, it went down to 0%). Now its just looming in my status bar, paused; presumably waiting for an opportune moment to download. I have rooted my phone a long time ago and had Package Disabler Pro, which no longer works (because my phone is rooted). I have the SM-N930T Version over here located in Virginia, USA. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

I know you said the phone is rooted, so it's a 1st gen, APGC Baseband, right?
Do you have anything right now substituting for Package Disabler Pro? We know that's no longer going to help you since the knox license was pulled (the rooting doesn't really matter, it's more the app license IIRC) but there are other solutions that could help you once you get rid of the download.
Having had to battle this myself a couple of months ago with the same baseband handset while installing a beta version of Shield, I can tell you that you're likely going to have to factory reset the phone to delete the partially downloaded update. Now, because your phone is rooted, you DO have access to parts of the filesystem nonrooted phone are denied. You can probably navigate to where the fragment is and delete it before setting up another blocker. I *strongly* recommend setting up Shield. It's easy and very reliable. If you need some help looking for the OTA fragment, you'll need a good file explorer (ES File Explorer is fine) and you'll want to put your phone in airplane mode. I'm happy to go exploring with you if you want a hand.

^ what he said.

If you phone is rooted there is an option to enable v3 via root so you can freeze the update manager. I would STRONGLY suggest you take Jack's advise and delete the fragment.
