I am confused about something
My Note 7 with Verizon had the 60% battery charge limit.
I followed your instructions "How to remove Note 7 battery charging limit" and it worked perfectly. I can charge to 100%.
All my apps and data loaded perfectly without using Samsung Smart Switch
But, I don't think I was able to turn Wi-Fi off quickly enough because in the notification area, I received the "System Update ready to install" message. After a few days, I got tired of looking at that message and so ....
Without doing a factory data reset, without removing the SIM card, without turning Wi-Fi off, and without turning off mobile data, I used your instructions "How to block Note 7 update" and it seemed to work. The message is gone. Also, I have a Windows 10 computer but I did not use the additional instructions for a Windows 10 computer that auto blocks the program from working.
My phone no longer has that message "System Update ready to install."
Since I did not follow your instructions about doing a factory data reset, I'm confused as to why I don't have the update problem.
When I go into settings and press "System updates," I get the following message, "Unfortunately Settings has stopped"
Do you think I'm safe from any future updates from Samsung and or Verizon?
Why would your program work when I did not do a factory data reset?
I have turned off automatic updates in Google Play. Do you think that has a bearing on system updates?
Thank you very much for a great Note 7 tutorial.
Confused

You can turn on Google updates if you want.
AT&T and Verizon has pervision that when the update is disabled the message goes away. It is just always better to delete update all together with a factory reset so that it ensures your Note7 has the best performance.

Turning off Google I believe is important as well, but that's my personal opinion.
