I am new to Alliance, and it is functioning. But I have 2 basic questions on the set-up.
Now my app has all 3 buttons in green: Admin, Knox, and Device Owner. So I think I set up correctly, and the app seems to be working.
I want to use the Owner status to be able to DISABLE some apps.
QUESTION:
Is it necessary to keep Developer settings turned on? Does Alliance app need that to function as Device owner?
And if so: Is it further necessary to keep wireless debugging left on? Does Alliance app need to "pair" with wireless debug somehow?
Thanks for any guidance or answer !
IF NEEDED AS BACKGROUND INFO, HERE IS WHAT I DID SO FAR:
On my Samsung s20+, I installed the Alliance app from Google play store. I then made Alliance the Device Administrator and also I did the Knox validation.
Then I logged out of all Google and other accounts and stopped all apps. I then turned on Developer mode. I then used the wireless ADB and input the suggested command to make Alliance the Device Owner.
Now my phone Apps device admin page has two blue buttons turned on:
One blue button is ENABLE DEVICE ADMIN.
The other blue button is ALLIANCE SHIELD X (Beta don't enable).
