I have Version 0.5.7 of the alliance shield (still green and protecting me (Sprint network)).
My problem is that I also used it to debloat a lot of the Sprint zone and other miscellaneous crap but think I may have blocked the package that enables my phone to install apps that I want to install (ie apps from the google play store). I recently tried to load an app and it appeared to download fine but then errored out when it tried to install. I then tried to update one of my existing apps that had an update available and the same installation error resulted.
Unfortunately when I go into the shield app I now cannot see any of the other packages that were previously viewable in order to reactivate the one in question.
Do I have any options?
If I were to remove my SIM and go into airplane mode and then open the shield and enable all packages would it reenable all of the bloatware and in particular that package that I shouldn't have disabled?
And more importantly, would all of the bad packages that would lead to rendering my phone an unchargeable paperweight be reblocked when I reactivate the shield?
Or would it also reblock all of the bloatware that I had also gone in an blocked manually?
I would presumably then activate the shield and then add my SIM card back and leave airplane mode and then deal with bloatware on a protected phone that can update and load google play store apps again.
If any of the developers could comment on how the v1 shield works that would be immensely helpful.
I guess it is not a huge deal for now but when all my apps stop working because they need to be updated then I may start to fall out of love with my Note..
Thanks,
Jimidee
Any way to reactivate a disabled bloatware package?

@Jimidee
He said his is Sprint... I'm not a developer but may have an idea. I know that with mine, it wouldn't install/download the update when it was below 15% even when connected to wifi. So my idea is to run it down to below 15% -> make sure no sim or sd card is inserted -> do a factory reset (this will re-enable all packages) -> do the solid explorer method to re-block the updates. You can do a backup to smart switch first to keep your info. (another tip, keep your phone and computer in airplane mode whenever possible just in case)
Do you think this may work? - @Catwoman

I had disabled too many apps and with it app installer. I downloaded Solid Explorer and deleted the disabling app. Note 7 is working great! The info on Solid Exp says its a backup but its working great at blocking the kill update. But SE requires a pc to install it in phone.

yes jordan, that will work. you can also do this:
you will need to uninstall all package disablers and then then use the Solid explorer method to protect your phone. you will need to do this while on airplane mode to make sure you do not download the update.
how to uninstall package disablers:
Settings---> Lock Screen and Security or Security---> Other Security settings---> Device administrators---> Turn off access to the Package Disabler Pro and another of the package disablers.
Then go to your apps and uninstall the packages disablers. Proceed with the solid explorer method below.
