installed shield but I can not log in

Hello I installed the shield last week and could not log on it says user name/password incorrect . I tried again several times with no success I even downloaded the updated version. I am not using Facebook to log in mY user name is mo, and I have tmobile.
I have asked for help before on threads that are similar and this last time I think the modarator thought I wasn't listing and resent directions in all caps when I asked what else I could do. He said the system doesn't show me trying to log in at all. And that it must be my Internet with my note 7 but I'm able to log onto the forum from it and other sites.

I uninstalled the app and reinstalled with the video so not to mess up no difference and I'm still on my note7 now

That's weird... Seems that something blocks the communication of the shield to our servers, so we don't see the login attempt.
Can you remember which time was your last try to login?

Is it weird that the error message username/Password comes up even before the "checking...." shows up on top of my keyboard?

Nothing in the logs for your username. Nothing at this time at all...

Did you try to restart your note? (Disable wifi first, restart, re-enable wifi for login)
Maybe there's something wrong in the cache.

Yes I am paranoid so I quickly power it off this is the longest ive had phone on in weeks because tmobile likes to force updates and I've already hit later a few times.

So did you already download the update to the note, as you say " I've already hit later a few times "?
If so you should do a factory reset first to get rid of the update.
