Just to get sure, what message did you get to postpone? If there's sth. like "tap here to install..." then it's already on the device.moo wrote:7342 I postponed the update 3 times it has not downloaded yet

It can depend from the provider version. My device is German, I find the reset at the point 'Allgemeine Verwaltung" in English maybe "General management" or General Administration, it's just above 'Software Update'. And inside the 'General...' i have a point called "reset"moo wrote:7371 I'm stuck at this step "Go to Settings---> Accounts or Clouds and Accounts--> Backup and reset---> Factory data reset---> Yes"
I do not have a factory data reset option on my menu any ideas?

At this point I have tried flashing my note 7 but Odin keeps saying it fails... do I try to reinstall the shield?
I even had my husband try incase I'm just really an idiot and he gets same fail from odin. And yes tmobile sent kill already

Well, in my answer in post #19 I linked the following to get rid of the already downloaded update:moo wrote:7541 I was told to try factory reset so I did. And tried odin with video tutorial again

Right, this one is about factory reset and nothing about flash with odin. Flash with odin you'll only need if a battery limiting update is already installed (not only downloaded and waiting for install).and you're in the condition to charge only to 60% for example.
