Just to get sure, what message did you get to postpone? If there's sth. like "tap here to install..." then it's already on the device.

Take care to have no simcard inserted and wifi off, then do this below, it will kill downloaded update.
If you have to have some stuff you want keep, backup it before,

I'm stuck at this step "Go to Settings---> Accounts or Clouds and Accounts--> Backup and reset---> Factory data reset---> Yes"
I do not have a factory data reset option on my menu any ideas?

It can depend from the provider version. My device is German, I find the reset at the point 'Allgemeine Verwaltung" in English maybe "General management" or General Administration, it's just above 'Software Update'. And inside the 'General...' i have a point called "reset"

Then you're not doing something correctly within the tutorial. Have you carefully read each step?

Well, in my answer in post #19 I linked the following to get rid of the already downloaded update:
https://note7alliance.com/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=71

Right, this one is about factory reset and nothing about flash with odin. Flash with odin you'll only need if a battery limiting update is already installed (not only downloaded and waiting for install).and you're in the condition to charge only to 60% for example.

don't do odin, factory resetting should be find for now to get rid of the firewall. now try to install the shield but change your password first.
