Im getting notifications of something I have never seen before that is requesting to be updated.... anybody else know if i can use the alliance shield to disable Hancom Office Editor?

I have not yet downloaded the shield but it does state that it still works as a package disabled so I'm sure you'd be able to disable Hancom with it.

I suggest using the newest method with solid explorer it worked for me and it stoped the annoying updates. However you will still see a icon saying there is a update.

Hancom Office seems to be some chinese office clone. First you can look at your installed apps and their permissions.
Did you Intentionally install this app? If not you may uninstall it. Or you can edit the permissions given to the app in app settings.
Sure you can block it using the shield, but why? To get rid of it, just uninstall.

I have no idea where it came from... wasn't sure if i disabled it if it would screw up my phone

Maybe some 'drive by download' while surfing the net...
Do find it in the apps list? What are the permissions granted for it?

Hancom Office Editor was preinstalled on my Verizon Note 7. You can disable it in your application manager.
